Ferry Farm and Kenmore Reopen for the 2014 Season on Monday, March 17!

Monday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: Noon – 5:00 p.m

Plan a spring visit to both National Historic Landmarks to enjoy an iPad tour of Washington’s boyhood home and see the progress on the Kenmore refurnishing. Also, mark your calendar for special events, including Shakespeare on the Lawn at Kenmore (June 14, 15, 21, 22) and The Fourth of July at Ferry Farm. Learn More...

Join preeminent professionals in the museum field for a day of presentations on notable projects in Virginia historic houses, including refurnishing Historic Kenmore. Registration and lunch: $80/person. Space is limited for this special symposium.

What would you sacrifice for freedom? A theatrical production examining the life-altering challenges encountered by the Lewis and Washington families after the Revolutionary War. Combine your tour with a special high tea or dinner at the Kenmore Inn. Space is limited for the performances.

Tuesday, May 6 – Archaeology Dig Site Opens

Explore Ferry Farm as archaeologists and students discover new finds at the Washington house site.

Saturday, May 17 – Herb Lecture and Tea at Kenmore

Hear about herbs and their inspired uses in the 18th century and sample herbal teas.

June 23-27 – History Camp in Historic Fredericksburg
