Fourth of July at Ferry Farm
Wednesday, July 4: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Celebrate a special Independence Day – with the Washington house now open – at George Washington’s boyhood home! Take a tour of the Washington house and learn about George Washington's life at Ferry Farm. Honor Independence Day at a flag retirement ceremony with Congressman Rob Wittman (1st – Virginia) scheduled for 1:00 p.m., visit with archaeologists and educators, interact with re-enactors, and listen to patriotic music—including performances by Enduring Freedom Honor Team, who will perform in concert beginning at noon. Participate in hands-on activities for the whole family!

(Handicap parking available at Ferry Farm.)
Shuttles run between the Eagles Lodge, Ferry Farm, and Downtown Fredericksburg.
