Gingerbread Preschool Group Workshops at Washington's Ferry Farm

Weekdays, December 9 - 20

For ages 4 and 5. $6 per child. Minimum of 10 children.

New This Holiday Season - A Gingerbread Preschool Workshop for Individual Children

Saturday, December 14 - 10 a.m.

For ages 4 and 5. $6 per child.

Activities include decorating a paper house and a gingerbread person cookie, story time, a scavenger hunt, and choosing a favorite gingerbread house in the exhibit!

In celebration of the 350th Anniversary of Stafford County, in early 2014, the Foundation will begin a project to collect oral histories. Videos will be recorded throughout the year at Ferry Farm special events – or by appointment – and at other sites across the county. Whether your memories are of a notable resident, a historic event, or experiences at Washington’s Ferry Farm, we invite you to Tell Your Stafford Story!

George Washington's Birthday Celebration and Archaeology Day

Saturday, February 15 and Monday, February 17, 2014


Mark your calendar for two fun-filled events at Ferry Farm. Celebrate Washington’s birthday and enjoy games, crafts, the Stone Throw Challenge (weather permitting) as well as, of course, Birthday Cake! On Archaeology Day, visit Ferry Farm for a simulated archaeology dig, artifact exhibits, a scavenger hunt, and more for the whole family.
