Programs are $3.00 per student. The Education Staff will work with your class schedule to accommodate entire grade levels in one day.

The life of George Washington is explored with costumed interpreters through hands-on archaeology, primary documents, stories and activities. Students also learn how Washington’s principles and actions shaped American Democracy. Grades K-2, 3-5.

Students learn about Virginia’s Powhatan Indians through artifacts, primary documents, fun activities, and games. Students explore how they lived, what foods they ate, how they clothed themselves, and how they interacted with European settlers, plus how they influenced the language and culture of Virginia. Grades K-2, 3-5.

Travel back in time to the 18th century! Students will journey to the past with costumed interpreters to compare everyday life in the present with that of 18th century plantation life. Using hands-on activities, students will enjoy learning about colonial clothing, 18th century lighting, manners, and many other aspects of colonial life. Grades K-2, 3-5.
