April, 2008 ~ Daffodil at Kenmore

Daffodils are a certain harbinger of Spring and the gardens at both Kenmore and Ferry Farm have beautiful varieties that are currently in full bloom. The grounds at Kenmore were the first restoration project of the Garden Club of Virginia using funds raised from the first Historic Garden Week. This year's Garden Week takes place April 19-27 with the Fredericksburg Club tour on Tuesday, April 22. Free admission to historic Kenmore is offered to holders of Fredericksburg Garden Day tickets.
