This side of the house has seen dramatic changes over the years. A kitchen extension was added by the Gordon family in the 1800s. This extension was considerably enlarged by the Howard family in the late 1800s.This wing was removed in the 1930s restoration of the house to bring it back to its 1775 configuration.
