Shakespeare on the Lawn: “The Tempest”

July 25 | 6:00 pm

Shakespeare On the Lawn at Kenmore returns this summer with four performances of The Tempest, a play about magic, betrayal, love and forgiveness. It is set on an island somewhere near Italy where Prospero, the exiled one-time Duke of Milan, and his beautiful daughter, Miranda, live with a sprite called Ariel and a strange wildman called Caliban. The Tempest explores the consequences of European settlement in the New World.
