Collections and Resources
Since its formation in 1922, the George Washington Foundation (formerly the Kenmore Association) has acquired a vast collection of fine and decorative arts, artifacts, architectural remains, and documents. These collections, while focused on the Washington and Lewis families, serve to tell the stories of those who once lived and worked at Ferry Farm and Historic Kenmore from prehistoric times to the 1990s.
Explore our Collections & Resources to learn more about collection pieces, archaeological finds, and people and events tied to the properties. Check back regularly as the collection expands through acquisitions and seasonal excavations.
